Common Questions

Is this available for my state?
HomeHistory is currently focused on California, starting with Los Angeles County and the Bay Area. We're expanding state by state. Register and tell us where you need it.
How is this different from a home inspection?
An inspection is a physical examination of current condition. HomeHistory is a record of the property's history: permits, claims, violations, and risk data from public and private sources. They're complementary. HomeHistory is what you run before you make an offer; an inspection confirms it.
How fast are reports delivered?
Signal reports are delivered in approximately one hour. Standard reports within four hours. Agent packs within two hours.
Do I need a credit card to register?
No card required to register. Payment is only collected when you order a report.
Can I use this for investment properties?
Yes. The Standard and Agent reports cover the signals most relevant to investment decisions: permit history, code violations, environmental flags, and full transaction history. Tell us your use case when you register.
